Acceptable use

1. Why this exists

FlashRole helps real people apply for real jobs. These rules keep the product honest — for you, for employers, and for everyone else on the platform. If you use FlashRole, you agree to this policy as well as the main terms.

2. Fine uses

  • Work on your own CV and supporting documents.
  • Use generated text as a draft you edit so it still matches your real experience.
  • Practise interviews and read feedback critically.
  • Research companies and roles you're genuinely considering.
  • Apply to listings through normal channels.

3. Things we don't allow

Serious breaches can mean an instant ban; we don't owe a refund if you broke the rules on purpose.

Honesty

  • No inventing degrees, employers, skills, or dates the tool didn't pull from facts you actually have.
  • No impersonation or submitting someone else's CV.
  • No using outputs to trick a hiring manager into a decision they wouldn't make if they had the truth.

Technical abuse

  • No bots or scripts hitting our APIs or UI unless we've given you written permission (see API docs if you have a key).
  • No scraping the product, reverse-engineering models, or trying to break authentication / billing.
  • No hogging resources in a way that hurts other users.

Content

  • No hate, harassment, explicit material, or anything illegal in what you upload or ask us to generate.
  • Don't feed us confidential data you're not allowed to share.

Commercial misuse

  • Don't resell the service, share one paid login across many people, or systematically export our UX to train a clone.

4. Use your judgement

Automated text reads cleanly fast — that's the point — but employers can tell when a letter doesn't sound like you. Read everything before you send it.

5. What we might do

  • Warn first on small issues where that makes sense.
  • Suspend while we look into something serious.
  • Close accounts for repeat or severe abuse.
  • Involve authorities if the law requires it.

6. Report a problem
