1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs how you may use FlashRole and its automated drafting tools. It exists to protect users, employers, and the integrity of the job market from misuse of our platform. By using FlashRole, you agree to this AUP.
2. Permitted Uses
You may use FlashRole to:
- ✅ Analyse and improve your own CV and career documents
- ✅ Generate cover letters that accurately represent your own qualifications and experience
- ✅ Practise for interviews by simulating realistic interview scenarios
- ✅ Research companies and job markets to inform your genuine job applications
- ✅ Improve the language, format, and ATS performance of your CV — provided the underlying facts remain accurate
- ✅ Browse and apply to real job listings matched to your profile
3. Prohibited Uses
The following uses are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination:
3.1 Misrepresentation & Fraud
- ❌ Using automated drafts to fabricate qualifications, experience, degrees, certifications, or employment history you do not actually hold
- ❌ Submitting a CV or cover letter that claims achievements or skills that are materially false
- ❌ Impersonating another individual, using another person's CV data, or creating fictitious candidates
- ❌ Using FlashRole outputs to deceive employers into making hiring decisions based on false information
3.2 Technical Misuse
- ❌ Accessing the Service using automated scripts, bots, or crawlers without express written permission
- ❌ Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary weights or models powering automated drafting
- ❌ Systematic scraping of job listings, company data, or any other Service content
- ❌ Attempting to circumvent credit limits, billing systems, or usage caps
- ❌ Interfering with the Service's infrastructure, including denial-of-service attacks
- ❌ Attempting to access other users' data or accounts
3.3 Content Violations
- ❌ Submitting content that is abusive, hateful, discriminatory, or sexually explicit
- ❌ Uploading content belonging to a third party without permission
- ❌ Using the Service to generate content that facilitates any illegal activity
3.4 Commercial Misuse
- ❌ Reselling, sublicensing, or white-labelling FlashRole's outputs without written permission
- ❌ Using the Service to build competing products by systematically extracting outputs
- ❌ Sharing account access with others — each account is personal and non-transferable
4. Responsible use of suggestions
FlashRole is meant to strengthen genuine career documents, not to invent them. We strongly encourage:
- Reviewing every suggestion before submission so it accurately reflects your experience
- Treating drafted cover letters as a starting point — personalise them before submitting
- Using mock interview feedback as coaching — not as a script to memorise verbatim
Employers may run originality checks. Submitting untouched drafts without your voice may weaken trust in your application.
5. Enforcement
We reserve the right to:
- Issue warnings for first-time, minor violations
- Suspend accounts pending investigation
- Permanently terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations
- Report illegal activity to relevant authorities
No refunds will be issued for accounts terminated due to AUP violations.

If you believe someone is misusing FlashRole or you have discovered a security vulnerability, report it to: support@flashrole.com
